Welcome back...
The last time we were together – really together, in-person - was
in early March of 2020 at the
foot of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona. That seems like a million years ago. If we knew then what we know now, would we have rushed to get back to our offices or, instead, chosen to savor each and every minute together?
To say that the past year has been
a challenge is an understatement. But there is light at the end of
the tunnel! Vaccines are being administered, Covid infections
are decreasing (at least as of this writing) and your convention
team is in the throes of planning
a fantastic “Welcome Back” Annual Meeting at the beautiful Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The meeting will officially kick-off on

for everyone. Located on 11,000 acres, The Greenbrier also features indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, bowling alley and movie theater, a casino on property, tennis courts and a fitness center. And, while the dress code is still upscale (jacket and tie in the Main Dining Room for dinner, jacket in Prime 44 West and after 7:00pm in the casino), “well-kept” dark denim is now permitted almost everywhere.
We know that you have concerns about Covid-19 and whether the resort will be “safe.” Rest assured,
Tuesday, August 3 and run through Saturday, August 7.
The FDCC was last at the resort in 2014. And, while The Greenbrier
- “America’s Resort” - remains timeless and elegant (channeling the renowned decorator,
Dorothy Draper), it is not your grandmother’s Greenbrier. Like the Federation, the resort continues
to evolve, maintaining the best of the past and embracing the innovations of the present.
