LEAGUE MAINTAINS AVERAGE OF 213 TEAMS PER SEASON
2023 was another strong year for the PMBL with the competition reaching capacity each season. 2023 saw the league maintain an average of 213 teams per season.
With an increased number of referees, the league has been able to ensure there has been 2 referees per game for 98% of the games played throughout the year. This is something other competitions can’t achieve.
During 2023 the Players League also saw the implementation of 3 referees officiating these games. These referees are current NBL1 West referees or in the State referee development program.
