WHEELCHAIR DEVELOPMENT
PARTICIPATION PATHWAY
Due to Covid-19, numbers were lower then the previous year in regards to the SBL Wheelchair League, with some choosing not to play, the league was condensed to run with three teams. Cockburn, East Perth and Joondalup competed in Season 2020
All games were played at HBF Stadium in Mt Claremont with a game a week and each team played each other twice in the regular season.
From the regular season Joondalup were undefeated and booked their place in the final. East Perth and Cockburn played a great play-off game to see who would play Joondalup in the final with East Perth winning.
The final produced a great first quarter with East Perth holding their own against the Shaun Norris lead Joondalup team. Joondalup took control in the second quarter and ran away with the game convincingly. Shaun Norris the player of the game as Joondalup secure their second win in as many years.
