HALL OF FAME & LIFE MEMBERSHIP
2022 saw the celebration of 76 years of Basketball WA at the Annual Awards Gala Night. It also saw the opportunity to celebrate the Induction of three outstanding members of the community
into the WA Basketball Hall of Fame, which was held on Saturday 13 August in the Crown Ballroom, Crown with over 630 guests in attendance.
The concept of the Hall of Fame is to enrich the basketball heritage by recognising players, coaches, referees and officials who made outstanding and impactful contributions to the game of basketball, enshrining WA's best preserves and also celebrating our culture to the sporting landscape and WA community. The HOF inductees are also now permanently acknowledged in the Bendat Basketball Centre.
The following Inductees were celebrated: Justin Eveson (Wheelchair Athlete) Melissa Marsh (Player)
Mark Worthington (Player)
The evening also honoured and celebrated BWA Life Member Inductee - Mr Keith Dunlap (dec) past BWA Chair.
