Pemi-Baker Hospice & Home Health Announce Care
PLYMOUTH - Pemi-Baker Hospice & Home Health is excited to announce that our Care and Comfort Fall Fund- raiser is underway. There are over 10,000 people per day turning 65 according to AARP
& Comfort Fall Fundraiser
and Pemi-Baker has noticed a growing need for outreach and educational programs in our 29 town, service area.
Our goal with the Care & Comfort Fall Fundraiser is to raise $8000 so that we can ex-
pand our programs and reach more of our rural and un- der-served neighbors in 2023.
One of the programs we want to offer more often is our free bereavement support group. As told by one of our
participants, “participating in the Pemi-Baker Bereavement Group led by Guy Tillson has been a major part of coping with the emotions and events following my spouse’s death. It was so supportive to talk with a group of people who were going through similar experiences and we could understand and sym- pathize with each other. The weekly meetings were well-orga- nized, with meaningful lessons allowing us to think about and share (or not share) aspects of what we were experiencing. I appreciated the practice of care- ful listening that emphasized respect for each person sharing during the group.” Your par- ticipation in this fundraiser will allow us to reach more neigh- bors going through this tough life transition.
