THE NEW HAMPSHIRE MARATHON
AT NEWFOUND LAKE
9am start all races - Register on-line now for one of our events – Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & Kids Race! Don’t want to run, but want to help? You can also regis- ter on-line to volunteer! We expect over 500 runners will participate in the 26.2- mile run and its fellow events, including a 13.1 half marathon, 10K road race & kids race. Not only does the field feature many local runners, but also has attracted runners from 45 different states and 10 different countries. For those interested in participating, registration is now open! Entry fee is $85 for the Marathon, $65 for the Half Marathon & $40 for the 10K Road Race (fee goes up by $10 after 8/27 & another $10 on race day). Check in time will be 7:00am-8:45am on race day in the NMMS cafeteria **HALF MARATHONERS MUST CHECK IN BY 8AM ON SATURDAY - LAST BUS LEAVES AT 8AM SHARP!!! Pre-registered runners may also check in on Friday from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Those in- terested in the pasta dinner on Friday may pre-register for $10 or at the door for $12, 5pm-7:30pm. LITERARY CIRCLE
6:30pm - 8:00pm – The Literary Circle is a reading group comprised solely of wom- en who agree to attend most meetings, read the books in advance, are willing to participate in discussions, and lead the circle when necessary. Currently, there is a waiting list to join, but please contact Ann Howell at ahlovesread@metrocast. net for more information. The Literary Circle meets at the Minot-Sleeper Library the second Tuesday of each month in the evening.
