Tapply-Thompson Community Centers
The Tapply-Thompson Community Center (TTCC) Summer Schedule is in full- swing as fun, sun and a wee bit of rain can all be checked as done. As we squeegee into the second half of the season, we have so much to share, as Tennis Lessons, Soccer Camp and Old Home Day festivities wring in and whet appetites as we gear up for our Annual Lobster-Chicken Dinner Fundraiser.
Save the Date, August 26th as Bristol Old Home Day festivities kick off a huge roster of activi- ties including, an Antique Car Show, Musical Entertainment, Displays, Demonstrations, Craft Fair and our almost-famous TTCC Lobster Chicken Din- ner. From 5:00 to 6:30pm, the TTCC will host our annual din- ner at Kelley Park in Bristol (At the TTCC in the event of rain) with menu of:
Lobster Plate - $25; Chicken Plate - $20; Combo Plate - $30; Kids Hotdog Meal - $10.

We are also taking applica-
tions (due August 7th) for our Crafter/Vendor Fair at Kel- ley Park, which will take place from 10am to 3pm on August 26th. Set-up will be from 8:00 to 9:30am with 12’x12’ spaces
available at $25 per booth. The event is rain or shine as you can mail the application form and payment to: TTCC, 30 North Main Street, Bristol, NH 03222.
From July 19th through Au- gust 3rd, we will be holding Tennis Lessons (for ages 6-10) at Kelley Park on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:30pm. Instructor Scott McCullough has been playing tennis for over 30 years and has competed in high school and in college at Norwich University. In recent years he has been a part of the Men’s Doubles League at Mountain- side Racquet and Fitness Center in New London. Space is lim- ited, so sign up today!
Our Challenger Sports Sum- mer Soccer Camp rounds out our Summer Schedule, as this week-long camp runs from July 31st to August 4th. The Tiny Tikes, ages 3- 5 division, begins at 8am and is $85, while the Half Day, ages 6-12 program runs from 9am to 12pm and is $160. Tale, and Wellington Beach and an overnight camping trip to Inspiration Point on Little Roundtop Mountain. We are averaging 170 kids per day in our 4 camps as we served over 75 free breakfasts and over 100 free lunches every day in our first week of camp.
