Congrats to Plymouth Recreation's Daniel Stein
We are so excited to share some wonderful news about our very own Plymouth Recreation employee, Daniel Stein!
Dan grew up right here in Plymouth and participated in many of our recreation programs before becoming an employee at just 16 years old. More than 30 years later, he is still a proud and dedicated member of our team and a truly invaluable asset to our department.
Over the years, Dan has looked out for everyone — whether alerting us to something happening during a summer camp day, letting us know the sledding hill was icy, noticing when students weren’t where

they were supposed to be, or sim- ply interacting with children and teaching them the right thing to do. Dan takes great pride in being a Town of Plymouth em- ployee, and it shows every single day.
After the loss of his parents, a brother in Colorado suggested Dan move to be closer to family. Dan’s response said it all: “Plym- outh is my home. My Plymouth family is important to me, and I love living and working here.”
Dan has participated in countless Halloween events, camp trips, Christmas parades, and more — and if you’ve ever watched him, you’d think each event was his very first. His joy
is contagious. If we could all see the world through Dan’s eyes, we’d be a little happier, more appreciative, and thankful for those around us. It has been a true privilege to work alongside such a positive, kind, and gentle human being.
And now for the exciting part... Dan is moving into his very first apartment and will be living on his own! If you see Dan out and about around town, please wish him luck and con- gratulate him. He is incredibly proud of this milestone — and so are we! Dan will reside in the town he loves so much, Plym- outh.
