October means the school year is back in full swing and the staff and students of Newfound Regional High School are ready for an excellent year. Although the students and staff who so much to look forward to, NRHS students have already had so many fantastic opportunities to explore career options and con- nect with their families and the school community.
On Tuesday, September 15, seven NRHS students traveled to Lancaster to attend the North Country Career Expo. It was the school's first time participating in the event, and it brought together representatives from a wide range of industries and career fields.

cal services, and so many others! The expo gave students a chance to speak with professionals and learn about career paths they may not have previously consid- ered.
After seeing the variety of op- portunities available at the expo, the school hopes to bring more
students to the event next year. It truly is a wonderful experience for young students.
Just two days later, on Thurs- day, September 17, NRHS wel- comed students and their families to the school's annual open house. And it was a huge success!
