As the Scarecrows crowd Bristol Square and the time to Trick or Treat is almost here, we wanted to run down our Au- tumn events as we near the end of our building renovations and welcome in the Holiday Season with our annual Turkey Trot, One Stop Shop and Santa’s Vil- lage. First up for the festivities is Bristol Trick or Treating being held on October 31st from 5 to 7:30pm, with a costume parade at 4:45pm at the TD Bank Parking lot. From there visit the TTCC Haunted Yard and welcome the Witching Hour at 6:14pm with the Witches of Bristol in front of the TTCC, all the while enjoying hot cocoa and treats provided by

The Bristol Fire and Police
Departments will be distributing surprises for everyone and there will be a haunted house at the Masonic Lodge for those wanting an extra scare. Trunk-or-Treat- ing is available for those who live outside the downtown area with spots on North Main Street, as you must be set-up before 4pm when the road closes. Please note that North Main Street from Pleasant Street to Mayhew Street will be closed to All vehicular traf- fic from 4pm until 7:45pm and that there will be parking at New- found Memorial Middle School, Bristol Elementary School and other public parking locations.
Basketball Season and a New Babysitting Course are next up on our event calendar, as we also have a special trip planned to Cirque Dreams-Holidaze in December at the SNHU Arena. On November 8th, from 9:30am to 3pm, we will be holding a day- long babysitting course at the TTCC for ages 12 and up. Partic- ipants will learn the basics while getting certified in both CPR and First Aid and must pre-register by November 4th. The cost for the program is $110.
Registration for Youth Basket- ball is open now with a skills as- sessment scheduled for November 23rd at the Bridgewater-Hebron Village School for grades 1-6. All
1st and 2nd grade players will meet from 8:30 – 9:30am, all 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th grade girls meet at 9:45-10:45am and all 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th grade boys will meet from 11am-12pm. The cost is $40 per player for Li’l Hoops & the grade 1/2 Division and $50 per player for 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 & HS. Scholarships are available and if you have any questions, please call the office at (603) 744-2713.
To round out our special event round-up we will be holding Elf Interviews for all 4th and 5th graders on November 6th, our One Stop Shop on November 29th from 2-5pm & Novem- ber 30th from 9am-12pm at the TTCC, and our 70th Annual
Santa’s Village on December 13th, 14th and 15th this year.
Registration is now open until November 10th for a very spe- cial trip to SNHU Arena where Cirque Dream-Holidaze will be performing on December 10th. Take in this amazing show for just $100 as you will be bused down and back for a special evening where all your favor- ite story book characters come to life.
