 Celebrate the Imagination Ball
  My name is William Jolly, and I am excited to announce my candidacy to be your representative to the SAU4 Newfound Area School District School Board.
On behalf of the entire district, I will do my best to:
1) Insist on respect for America’s founding principles; 2) Promote curriculum that teaches all people have both
equal rights and equal responsibilities under the law; 3) Prevent politicized education, while respecting the free speech of individuals and the educator code of con-
duct;
4) Promote maximal transparency to the public on all
school matters, while protecting individual privacy;
5) Insist that parents/guardians are the ultimate authority
of their children’s values, education, and well-being; 6) Pursue excellence through programs actively overseen
by your elected representatives;
7) Advocate for reading, writing, arithmetic, the scientific
method, civics, and history as foundational to academic
advancement;
8) Treat innovations and changes with healthy skepticism,
insisting their proponents present thorough proposals, detailing purpose, benefits, risks, costs and funding sources;
9) Protect the district from unsustainable programs and policies.
10) Hold leaders accountable if they fail to uphold these standards.
I'm grateful for your support. This is a district-wide elec- tion. No matter what town you live in within the district, you can vote for me . Please vote for me on March 12th.
THANK YOU! William Jolly

Get ready for an enchanting night at the Imagination Cele- bration Ball! Hosted by Voices Against Violence, this event will transport you to a world of cre- ativity and joy. Grab your danc- ing shoes and join us on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Common Man in Plymouth. Dress to im- press and immerse yourself in an evening of imagination, laughter, and delight!
The ball includes dinner at a beautiful sight, live music, danc- ing, raffles, and just an overall wonderful atmosphere. In the past, the Voices’ event typically had about 220 people attend the throwback event, and each year was better than the last.
Everyone should get ready for a night of dancing to the fantastic band Rusty Bones! With people dressing up in costume to show off their fairytales and fantasy styles, you might think you were transported into an enchanting novel! However, with that being said, no one has to come in cos- tume. Just go and have fun! And also, the possibilities are endless with how you want to dress up.
You can come as one of your fa- vorite characters!
The Imagination Celebration Ball is Voices Against Violence’s biggest fundraising event of the year. All proceeds go to VAV, which is a local nonprofit center that serves 700-800 individuals who are in need every year. They are a crisis center; they have a 24-hour hotline, a confidential center, and a support system. A few of the notable things Voices Against Violence does are sup- porting people in court, support- ing vulnerable people at difficult times in their lives, providing a confidential shelter, (which people come from all over the country for), and making the individuals more than survivors. They help them thrive.
So, participating in this in- credible event is for a great cause in the community. And, not to mention, think about all the fun everyone will have! “Not only do people come and have an in- credible time, but we work with so many facets of the community like law enforcement, attorneys, etc., and everyone comes provid- ing a wide variety of people who
come and just have a good time,” Meg says. The ball is nothing but a fantastic night under the stars where people can forget about their hectic lives and just enjoy a night of music and dancing with a bunch of great people.
Tickets are on sale at their website, at .http://www.voic- esagainstviolence.net/voic- es-against-violence-annual-ball/. Interested parties can buy a table of ten to ensure all of their seats are together, or buy single tickets with no reserved seating.
No one should miss out on this event. Who would want to miss their chance at dressing up like their favorite character? It's an opportunity to let your creativ- ity shine and make unforgettable memories with fellow enthusiasts. Join us for a night where every moment is a celebration of the boundless wonders of the imag- ination!
Voices Against Violence’s message is “ To break the cycle of violence by providing com- prehensive services for all victims and survivors and by creating social change through education and action.”
