Bees and Beekeeping Program
9 at 7 PM in the Bristol Historic Town Hall on Summer St the Bristol Historical Soci- ety is pleased to welcome you to a Bees and Beekeeping presentation presented by Carolyn Fluehr-Lobban.
Carolyn has been a beekeeper for 16 years and an educator about Bees and Beekeeping in many educational and community settings. She will describe the remarkable natural history of honey bees and their critical role in pollination of crops, the local and national role of beekeepers and the public in their pro- tection (No Bees, No Food), and present challenges from pesticides. In addition, she will highlight the unique history of beekeeping in the Shaker community at Canterbury. All are welcome. For more information, call 603-744-2751

Summer Reading Bingo Drawing
August 13th, tentatively noon. Cards are due August 13th by 10am
The Hebron Library will be hosting a prize drawing for the people keeping up to date with their Summer Reading Bingo. For every five spaces filled on your card, you get another chance to win the prize! Summer reading bingo is still open, so there’s still plenty of time to stop by the library and pick up your card. With prize pools for both adults and children every- one’s welcome to participate! Make sure you get your cards in by 10 am, so that we can add your names to the drawing!
4-H Animal Exhibition and Raffle August 13th, Noon
The Friends of Hebron Library is pleased to announce that the Rumney Farmers 4-H Club will be at Hebron Family Fun Day on August 13th at noon. They will be bring- ing beef cows, dairy cows, goats, and maybe sheep and bunnies that they have raised and cared for as part of the 4-H program. They will share their experiences and demonstrate what they have learned in the process. They will also be raffling some spa and gift items made from goats milk as well as some other one of a kind handmade items. The proceeds from the raffle help defray the costs of traveling to many agricultural fairs throughout the state. Please come and enjoy these won- derful young people (ages 5-18) and sup- port their efforts. Fun for the whole family!

Family Fun Day Book Sale
9 am - 1 pm. During Family Fun Day the Hebron Library will be holding its official book sale. Prices are low and we have a large selection of best selling hardbacks and paperbacks. All proceeds go to the Hebron Library for use in supporting the library programs. Come find books in the library’s foyer looking for a new home.
