It’s officially October! This means it’s officially spooky month! I’m sure all of us are get- ting ready to take part in some exciting Halloween-themed ad- ventures, and with October 31st creeping up, it’s time to start planning!
However, with popular, fun- filled events, there comes an awareness that brings on some safety precautions that every- one should keep in mind when it comes to these happenings. In order to keep Halloween a fun and exciting event for all, let’s make sure to follow these safety tips and tricks!
• Plan the day/night! It’s good to have a timeline of everything you’ll be doing on Halloween so you can stick to a routine
• An adult should always ac- company children as they go trick-or-treating or whatever else they might have planned
• For older children, plan a safe and acceptable route
• Talk about the importance of never talking to strangers on Halloween night or ever.
• Always have a cellphone on you in case of emergency
• Wear comfy shoes for all that walking you’re about to do!
• Make an ID card for your
