Local Stops on the Snowmobile Trails
Since snowmobiling is a fa- miliar concept in the state of New Hampshire, the accom- modations for the exciting ac- tivity are abundant. There are plenty of fantastic snowmobile clubs in and around the New- found area, and the stops along the way make sure that all the snowmobile riders are well taken care of. I mean, you know that age-old saying, “It’s the friends we meet along the way that help us appreciate the journey,” and that sentiment is relevant for the stops along the trails.
The Newfound Country Store is undoubtedly a staple in this community, and they offer quite a variety for our snow- mobilers. They offer trailhead parking for trailers, 24-hour gas, hot food, cold beverages, warm
gear and bait if they’re going out fishing, snacks for the trails, OHRV registration, and much more. Everyone knows the New- found Country Store is stacked with wonderful items and food, and the people who snowmobile have plenty to look forward to if they stop there.
The Hebron Village Store offers a wide variety to snow- mobilers as well. They have breakfast items like coffee, do- nuts and baked goods. They also provide a variety of lunch items like soups, sandwiches, hot dogs, and potato salad, as well as some daily specials from time to time. They are a full conve- nience store, so they really have everything you could need! If you’re in need of something for your snowmobiles, they have snowmobile oil, spark plugs, and other stuff if you’re in a pinch!
Sculptured Rocks is also a great place to park your snow- mobile if you need a break and take in the natural area’s beauty. Also, the Tenney Mountain Country Store in Plymouth is another excellent place to stop for food and gas! Also, don’t
forget to go to Wellington State Park for parking as well as access to the lake!
Snowmobiling is such a fun and thrilling activity, but it can absolutely take up your whole day! But, thanks to these excel- lent stops along the way, people can break up their excursions for whatever they might need. And how lucky are we that this com- munity is full of quality places for our active snowmobilers to stop? So, jump on your snow- mobile, plan out your stops, clear your mind, and get ready for an exciting day ahead.
