Free Volunteer Training Program for 2025
PLYMOUTH, MERE- DITH, LINCOLN -- Pemi- Baker Hospice & Home Health is excited to announce the launch of their next free, volun- teer training program, starting on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. This program, designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence needed to sup- port patients and their families, will run weekly on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at their offices located at 101 Boul- der Drive in Plymouth, NH. The program will span five weeks, concluding on March 19, 2025, with a break on March 5.
This training offers a unique opportunity for individuals to give back to their community in a deeply meaningful way. Vol- unteers with Pemi-Baker Hos- pice & Home Health play a vital role in providing comfort and support to patients and families facing challenging times. Duties include offering a listening ear, providing companionship, as- sisting with administrative tasks, contributing to community out- reach efforts, participating in fundraising activities, and deliv- ering groceries to those in need.
“Volunteers are the heart of our organization,” said Angie Burke, Volunteer Coordinator at Pemi-Baker Hospice & Home Health. “Their compassion and generosity have a profound im- pact on the lives of our patients and their families. This training is an invitation to join a team of caring individuals dedicated to
making a difference.”
In response to patient needs,
Pemi-Baker Hospice & Home Health is actively seeking male volunteers and individuals with military backgrounds. These volunteers are especially encour- aged to apply, as they help bridge connections and provide unique support to Veteran patients.
The free training program is open to individuals of all back- grounds who have a desire to serve their community. Upon completion, participants will be
well-prepared to provide emo- tional and practical support to patients and their families, en- suring they feel cared for and connected.
