We are delighted to welcome Jeff Warner to present his pro- gram “Songs of New Hamp- shire”. Mr. Warner is a Folklorist and Community Scholar for the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts. He accompanies
his songs or concertina, banjo, guitar, and several pocket in- struments, such as bones and spoons. Mr. Warner will share ballads, love songs, and comic pieces from earlier times in New Hampshire. These songs reflect the life of workers in various early pre-industrial occupations and also life at home. This pro- gram will be held on Tuesday, September 24, at the Minot Sleeper Library in Bristol at 6:30 PM. All are welcome.
