The legend behind the name...
Bitter and Twisted was first brewed in 1997 shortly after which (and unrelated to the new brew) a wee fracas broke out in the brewhouse.
Feathers flew.
There was some colourful language. One or more wives may have been involved.
Nobody can remember exactly who was called “bitter & twisted“, by whom, or even why! But it was one heck of a name-day for this great beer!
