We are looking for an Italian Language Tutor who is a native, or near native speaker of Italian. The tutor has an understanding of the needs of VCE Italian students and the requirements of the new VCE Italian Study Design, in particular the oral component. The tutor also has demonstrated experience in a similar role and a willingness to engage with contemporary learning and teaching pedagogy, including digital technologies, and has highly developed communication skills.
We will require an Italian Language Tutor for approximately four hours per week commencing w/b Tuesday 14 April through to Friday 9 October 2020 [term time only]. The successful applicant will be employed as an independent contractor and may need to deliver tutoring sessions online to our students due to the current health climate.
All applicants are required to complete the College application form and the successful applicant will need to provide evidence of:
• eligibility to work in Australia
• current VIT registration or WWCC and Police Check
• completion of accredited anaphylaxis training and mandatory reporting training
