I am conducting a piece of research through Monash University (Monash ethics number: 23226; Victoria Dept of Ed number: 2020_004304) looking at how language teachers interpret and implement the language and culture/intercultural aspects of their curriculum.
I am looking for about ten teachers to interview about their use of the curriculum and their experiences of implementing the intercultural aspects into their lessons. If you would be willing to take part in this project, please could you email me at ruth.fielding@monash.edu to let me know you might be interested. I will then send you some more information and email or phone you to chat about more details.
To thank you for your time (and if you are interested) I will offer to work with you after the interview to try out some different intercultural approaches and activities in your classes.
As an outcome of the project I hope to share successful activities and plans, and to share a framework for implementing intercultural approaches in languages education.
