The site location, covering of 24,000 hectares currently owned by PT BORNEO PRIMA
ENERGY, a local private company in Balikpapan. Its current JV partner is ST ZIFRAN
HOLDING SDN BHD, a company from Malaysia. This JV partner’s responsibility is to search
for RWA Genuine Investor to participate in this Oil & Gas project in Kaliorang Village, East
Kutai, East Kalimantan Province, Kalimantan, Indonesia. At the site, the first WELL location is
found roughly 4 miles to the region’s coast. The beach also has a deep seabed about 50
meters deep which is suitable for establishing a port for exporting products. The wide
location of the site is also having the potential to build a crude oil storage tank facility and
also building a refinery to process the crude oil into various petroleum products for export.
In addition, the proximity of the location to the coast will certainly ease the product output
and also can be achieved by constructing gas pipe lines directly into the harbor, the tank or
storage area, or to the refinery. This location can also be a catalyst for a new urban nucleus
which will create diverse activities of infrastructure development, economy, population,
investment, employment, socio-cultural and many others.
