Symbolism

Although I took artistic license, you will find in the Crow
Tarot many of the same symbols as in the Rider-Waite-
Smith deck. When I created the Crow Tarot, I felt it was
essential to work within the parameters of tradition
concerning symbolism as I was using the creative process

also to teach myself the Tarot.

You will find color plays an important role in the Crow
Tarot as it sets the stage or mood for the energy
represented on the card.

Red
You will find the color red throughout the Crow Tarot.
From the infinity symbol to the poppies, I chose this color
because it symbolizes strength and passion as well as
danger, conflict, and power.

Pink / Magenta
The color pink represents calm, warmth, love, acceptance,

and the feeling of security. You will find various shades of
this color throughout this deck from lotus flowers to the
warm sky of the Seven of Pentacles.
