The great crow perches on a throne of his own, making
high above the clouds where he has an unobstructed view
of the valley. The crow knows that it is not a chair that
creates a leader but rather integrity and a disposition that
favors fairness tempered by compassion. When squabbles
or conflicts arise, those under his rule recognize the
Emperor as a valued voice of reason. No, this powerful bird
did not gain his authority by muscling his way to the top or
through trickery —he is a true leader, one who earned the
honor by offering respect to all in the roost.
General Message
The Emperor is a mature father figure who creates
structure and restores order during times of chaos. He may
represent an authority figure or someone who has the final
say in a decision. When the Emperor is present, the call is
to move forward with integrity, regulate emotions, and
work within rules or guidelines.
