CRISOD’s internal and external boundaries demarcation:
In an attempt to organize our daily operations, on February 18, CRISOD reviewed all of
its coverage boundaries. These boundaries will define the patrol response coverage, with
a clear area of coverage for each patrol, to enhance our patrol response time. At first,
the Department studied CRISOD’s internal boundaries between its divisions. Once those boundaries were set, it conducted meetings with our neighbor departments WRISOD & SAISOD. WRISOD and CRISOD agreed on their boundaries, and we are waiting for input on these action items from SAISOD, to finalize the boundaries, then we will take that agreement to the GIS group to apply on the CERT system.
security patrol response time awareness program:
The program was developed to raise CRISOD employees’ knowledge about Security Patrol Response Time KPI. The program included a short video clip explaining how the patrol response time is being calculated. Multiple presentations were presented to support the awareness of this KPI. To have all related information as a future reference, a PDF document was written and distributed to all CRISOD’s employees and all vehicle patrols have been affixed with Response Time stickers. Finally, to measure all this work, two identical surveys were sent. Please note that the planned Security Patrol Response Time is 3:27, from dispatch time by CR 911 EC until the security patrol arrival at the incident location.
