FEATURE PET: Cooper (Dave Veach)

My name is Cooper although my official AKC name is "Bent Creek's Love
Bug" (you can look me up on K9data.com). I am an English Cream Golden
Retriever (that means I'm mostly white). I was born in Suwanee, Georgia where my
mother Aspen lives. My father Jason, who lives in the Netherlands, is a champion
all over Europe. I live on Abby Gate drive with my humans Dave & Diane Veach.
They take exceptionally good care of me. My male human takes me on walks twice
a day, although I could do without the 4:00AM walks if truth be told, but at least he
does a good job of getting me out each day. And he is the one who plays with me.
Whether it's tug-of-war or wrestling or other forms of play, he is the one I rely on for that aspect of my well-being. My female
human is the one who gives me most of the love. She's a very loving human and I really enjoy spending time with her every
morning while she's trying to drink her coffee (I don't understand why she never gives me any?!) and every evening before bed.
She is definitely the one I go to for attention. I also love my toys. If you meet me at home,
I'll often have a toy in my mouth to greet you.
I'm sure that many of you have seen me around the neighborhood. I really enjoy the
company of humans and in my book, there's no such thing as a bad human. I don't
discriminate; everyone is equal in my eyes (you humans should take a cue from us dogs). I
am happy to greet everyone and will happily accept attention from anyone. I especially
love the little humans. If there's an open garage door, or I hear voices, or a car pulls up, I
will stop and wait for you so that I can say hello. I also love other dogs and if the
opportunity arises for me to stop and say hello, and possibly have some play time (which is
every time I see them as far as I'm concerned), then I will take it. I'll even go out of my way
to make the opportunity although my human doesn't always allow it (he's such a killjoy
sometimes). So, if you see me walking through the neighborhood, don't hesitate to stop and
say hello. I'll really appreciate it and I think you will too.
