Neighbors are getting creative, during this time of isolation, to stay Watercolor Class - ON GOING Thursdays 1:30pm
connected. See pictures on page 23 and 28. Some residents are
scheduling times to meet in their driveways while others are using Zoom and Facebook messenger to connect. Zoom is a free conferencing
website which is found either as an app on your phone, tablet or on the web. My college girlfriends and I chatted using Zoom for two hours on
Saturday, March 21st. We were able to see each other in our homes and catch up as a group.
Please also take a look at page 15 where you will find information from the Crafters and Quilters who are making face masks. Anyone who is
crafty is welcome to participate. Contact information and face mask patterns are also listed on page 15.
Check your email as I will be mostly communicating through that avenue. We have had some fun so far with hosting a home Luau and using
sidewalk chalk to decorate the community with drawings and positive messages (page 7). It is important that you are seeing the updates from
the Board and Management during this time. I can assist you to make sure your email address is listed for communications, as well as setting
up your username and password to login to the website. Please contact me by email at shannon@tcwp.net for assistance.
We are going to have some fun with your then and now pictures! Can you guess which one of your neighbors is in the picture on page 20?
Send your guess to shannon@tcwp.net along with your own then and now set of pictures for the May Courier.
Tentatively - Helping Hands invites ALL Residents to Coffee & Chat at The Retreat Fri., April 24th at 9:00 a.m.
It’s a great way to meet your neighbors, while enjoying some delicious goodies.
