Odd Number Round Compound Double Coin Knot
A round compound double coin knot is formed when a cord is tied into a circle of
double coin knots, with the linked cord in between two knots tied into a new knot
body. You can also omit the double coin knots and tie only the new knot body in the
center. If you want to tie an “n”number of odd number round compound double coin
knots, follow the instructions on page 106.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
Tie the knot following the illustration guide below. For the arrangement of the
central linked cords, see the formula mentioned below.
HINTS
• The right half of an ear loop is designated (+) and the left half (–).
• After completing ear loop 1, turn the cord end clockwise to the left and tie ear loop
2, 3, 4 accordingly until the ear loop (even number) just before the required ear loop
(odd number) has been completed.
• Take note of the continuous pull through (–) process in 3, 5, 7 odd number items.
