THE STORY OF KITUK…

It all started in the early 1970’s, when there were just 3 TV channels, no mobile phones, videos or
computers. Back then, replica football kits were almost non-existent until the likes of Admiral and
Umbro changed all that. And the only regular football you could watch on television was match of the
day or sports night midweek.

And watching the FA cup final in those days was an all-day event and a highlight of the season –
regardless of who played. Starved of football, other than for school or local teams, I started designing
and painting Subbuteo kits, then sketching out kit designs on paper. Gradually developing an eye for
detail and an understanding of styles and colours that work well together – and ones that don’t!

Having been involved in grassroots football for over 35 years, as a player, coach, kit manager, football
writer and even running football teams – there remained a burning obsession with kits and having
worked in football teamwear for one of the big sports brands, the dream was always to set up a
football kit company of my own.

So KitUK.net was started in 2016 to bring a lifetime of ideas and inspiration to life and to supply
football clubs across the UK with stylish, professional and well made kit & training wear at affordable
prices. And now, with a network of over 100 clubs and a British manufacturer with over 30 years

experience and expertise, KitUK aims to be league winners when it comes to making & supplying kit.

And for 2017/18, we’ve expanded our range to bring you a superb collection of
football kits in an almost unlimited number of colour combinations! 2
