A HISTORICAL LIE: THE STONE AGE

The deep-rooted civilizations founded by ancient
societies show that Darwin's thesis of
"progress from the primitive to the civi-
lized" does not reflect the facts. Sumerian
civilization is one example of this.
The way that the Assyrian chariot in the

force is worthy of note. The soldiers'
armor shows how far advanced the
craft of metallurgy was at that time.
                                                        Their clothing is completely cov-
ered in armor, making it possible
                                                         for them to move comfortably,
                                                         while they are protected from
head to foot. The chariot must be
strong enough to stand up to wartime
conditions and heavy blows, especially since it was used
as a battering ram. The materials used and the chariot's
strength are particularly striking. (2,000 BCE to 612 BCE)
