STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.
This semester, I have the opportunity to take "WRITING II" as a course to learn and
review different teaching methods through writing to develop my skills. Therefore, I would
like to describe the reason and the expectations I have for taking the "WRITING II". This will
help me improve my knowledge through writing and comprehension of different texts
synthesizing the most important parts of this program. The last learning outcome that consisted
of writing an argumentative essay also helped me to know more about the parts that compose
it, citing the different opinions of different authors giving their opinion on a specific topic.
I have some reasons and expectations to take this course. First, I really like English. I
would like to go abroad and teach a language such as English, Italian, Spanish or Korean to
young and children. Second, many of the companies that have relationships with foreign clients
need people who perform simultaneous translations, whether business or interpersonal. Finally,
being an English teacher is one of the brightest and most important careers in the world.
This course will contribute to my future professional development in many ways. It will
help me to be an excellent teacher of English through the teachings of the basic and necessary
things for the mastery of the English language given by my teacher in the classroom, giving
me opportunities and tips to improve every day through writing and research.
I believe that I can do many things that will help achieve the learning results in
"WRITING II". One of the things that I will do first is to practice and practice very hard
everything I have acquired in classes every day so that it becomes one of the habits in my daily
life. Moreover, I need to reinforce all the knowledge given by my teacher, to support the
development of skills practiced in "WRITING". This will help me to have more fluent English
when writing or speaking. In addition, I will read different types of texts to learn more about
how to correctly write a paragraph, essay or article.
In conclusion, "WRITING II" is a fundamental piece of our journey towards English
language proficiency. Learning through "WRITING IV" is a fascinating adventure that will
allow students to be fluent in English through the different methods of daily learning in English
language learning.
