“A Mariners volunteer reached out to me at the beginning of the pandemic just to check in
and see how I was doing. This intentional and personal touch of care stood out to me and
influenced me to come back to Mariners Huntington Beach. I attended the Next Steps class and met several of the Pastors
who connected me to the Huntington Beach community and opportunities to serve with
Outreach and Mariners Youth. Though it’s been a crazy time in our world and it may have been easier
to ‘just attend’ it is clear that God is working in me and through me as I serve. It has been such a help to me to be connected and have a church I can call home!”
