“In May, I opened my home to be a Mariners Hosted at Home location. We would meet for an early al fresco dinner in the backyard an hour before the Saturday service and enjoy visiting in the backyard together before masking up to watch the service stream on my family room TV. Many summer Saturdays started with a backyard pool party and barbeque, or a birthday celebration, prior to worshiping together for our evening service.”

B R Y A N L A M B (Volunteer Co-Host Tustin Mariners in the Neighborhood Site) Bryan and his wife Darcy committed to volunteering at the Tustin Mariners in
the Neighborhood Site and Brian stepped up to co-lead the congregation. As a volunteer leader, Bryan oversees Group Life for the Tustin neighborhood site and intentionally invites others to take their next step by joining a group and growing together in community. Bryan and Darcy are two of the 250 volunteers serving at
Mariners in the Neighborhood each week; setting up, tearing down, and helping people connect to the ministries of Mariners Church.

At the end of last year Amy was very sick and needed a liver transplant. The doctors told her she was too sick to receive a liver. Mariners friends wrote letters on her behalf, and with only days to live and by the grace of God, she received a liver. With this gift of life, Amy wanted to give back and is now helping run Mariners Volunteer Headquarters, caring for and empowering volunteers every weekend at Mariners Irvine.
