NO charging system. NO Check for voltage drop between battery negative (-) terminal and cavity 5 (+) on connector [10B] (black) on Breakout Box Is voltage drop greater than 0.5 volt? NO Problem is intermittent. Perform 4.7 WIGGLE TEST.

Perform charging system tests. Charging system OK? YES Locate and repair bad connection. See lamp.

With ignition ON, measure voltage drop between battery positive (+) terminal and Breakout Box cavity 1 (-) (black). Is voltage drop greater With ignition ON, measure voltage drop

YES than 0.5 volt? YES Measure voltage at handlebar connector [22] between battery positive (+) terminal and Breakout Box cavity 4 (-) (black). Is voltage drop greater than 0.5 volt? NO Replace W/BK wire or terminals. NO Inspect [22] for corrosion or loose wires. If above conditions are not present, replace engine stop switch.
