All property owners in the Village of Oil Springs are responsible for the control of the long grass and weeds
on their properties from May 15th, 2017, and continuing through the growing season. If the long grass and weeds on the properties are not kept under control, then the Village may order the grass and weeds cut and charge the costs thereof to the owners.
If the owner fails to pay the cost thereof to the Corporation within thirty days of the mailing account, the Corporation may add the costs to the municipal taxes to be levied against the property on the next tax roll of the Corporation and the same shall be recoverable in the same manner as municipal taxes.
The co-operation of all property owners in this matter will be appreciated.

Bluewater Anglers’ annual Kids Training Day will be held at the Bluewater Anglers’ hatchery in Point Edward on Saturday, May 27, 2017, 10am-2pm. Club volunteers will show the kids some basic  shing techniques. Each kid will get a chance to catch a  sh from the hatchery pond. Bring the whole family. Pre-registration is required.
