AMD Ryzen Threadripper TR4 Processor Introduction

1. Introduction :

AMD SP3r2 or TR4 Threadripper processors combine the central processing unit (CPU)
with the the fusion controller hub (FCH) in a two-die SP3r2 package. The SP3r2 processor
can be connected to an AMD 300-Series chipset through the PCIe® GPP interface to provide

additional connections to system devices. AMD SP3r2 processor-based systems include the
DDR memory interface, PCIe, power delivery, and miscellaneous test signals that connect to

the processor.
