Finally, we are passionate and relentless. What
drives us everyday is our passion to enhance
the value we provide our customers, whether it’s
passing on the savings of our process efficiencies
and productivity, providing value-added services,
getting product to them sooner, or creating more
transparency around the workflow and supply
chain. But, more than that, it’s also our passion
to improve ourselves and the lives of our team-
mates. Let’s treat each other like family and live
ONE Kloeckner everyday. In this, we are relent-
less.
And, of course, what supports, enables, and
drives our culture is digital innovation and trans-
formation. It gives us the technological resources
we need to continuously improve, whether it’s
facilitating and streamlining communication
throughout the organization, empowering our-
selves to do things smarter and hold ourselves
accountable, helping us become more results
oriented so we can be a more agile organization,
elevating our passion to make our customers’
lives easier, or helping us become relentless in
our pursuit of perfection.
Digital innovation and transformation is the boost
up we get so that our jobs are more intuitive,
streamlined, and impactful, ultimately helping
us turn the tide on all our strategy for the next 2
years and reach our full potential not just as a
company, but, really, as a team.
This all supports our 5 strategic pillars, which I
discussed at length in the first issue of “Cutting
Edge.” And that’s it! In the months since, we’ve
worked hard to hone the game plan and, in the
spirit of learning and change, we will continue to
tweak it as the market changes and our competi-
tors with it. But the overall focus will remain the
same. Our strategy is to continuously improve on
the field so that we can show our Kloeckner col-
ors and take pride in our organization, today and
everyday.. As always, let’s unleash the dog!
