In my last newsletter, I went into some detail on our vision for the next two years, encompassed in our KMC 2022 Continu-
ous Improvement strategy. Since then, we’ve continued to hone it and I’m proud of what it has become today: a foundation of
the values, principles, and core beliefs that will make Kloeckner strong, a reflection of the culture that we seek every day to
create throughout the company, and the strategic pillars I alluded to in the last newsletter that give us a game plan for opera-
        tional and commercial excellence.
What excites me the most about the strategy is that it is precisely that: a game plan. Back when I played high school and col-
lege football, I was driven by something that famed coach Vince Lombardi said, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase
        perfection, we can catch excellence.”

So much of what we do everyday and so much of our success depends on us setting high standards for ourselves and those
around us. What’s true on the football field is also true at Kloeckner.

We can no longer be satisfied with being just a “good” company. Our goal is to be great, excellent, and, at times, perfect. As
in football, where a team rises or falls based on how well they work together, Kloeckner will prove its strength and resilience
in the face of continuing market volatility based on how well we embrace “One Kloeckner.”
