VitalStim® Therapy. An adjunctive modality that unites the power of electrical stimulation with the benefits
of swallowing exercise. VitalStim Therapy is a non-invasive, external electrical stimulation therapy that re-edu- cates the throat muscles needed for swallowing. The device is a portable, dual-channel electrotherapy system that is used with electrodes specifically designed for application to the muscles of the throat.
The VitalStim® electrode has a unique construction to safely transmit the high cur- rent load and current density of the VitalStim® Therapy protocol. Unique design and material stretches and molds to the irregular surface of the anterior neck. Material tears without scissors for quick application. Constructed to provide reliable conduc- tivity with no internal electrode separation. Excellent adhesion and gentle removal for delicate skin.
The adult package includes 1 NMES device, 1 set of lead wires with clips, 12 sets of adult electrodes, manual and case. The youth package includes 1 NMES device, 1 set of lead wires with clips, and 12 sets of youth electrodes. Adult combo package contains adult package, additional pair of lead wires and 30 additional adult elec- trodes. Start Up Kit contains adult package, additional pair of lead wires and 100 additional adult electrodes.

Columbia ScientificTM Dysphagia Electrodes. For use with all NMES devices that treat Dysphagia patients. FDA cleared for use on the neck, and to be used with primary Dysphagia treatment devices. All electrodes are single patient-multiple use application. Low impedance. Carbon mesh construction for extra comfort and strength.
Columbia 600TM Electrode. 1” Round, “pig-tail” connection for easy set-up pro- tocol. Includes lead wire for connection to NMES device. 4 electrodes per pack.
Columbia 600BTM Electrode. Traditional configuration with butterfly tape patch attached to each set of electrodes. Each electrode has the familiar “mini-snap” con- nection for quick connection to traditional lead wires provided with NMES devices. Electrodes .86” Round. 4 electrodes per pack.
