The original Mount Washington starting cruising Lake Winnipesaukee in 1872 and after a fire destroyed it in 1939, the Lakes Region was fortunate to have the new Mount sailing its waters in 1940. With several substan- tial upgrades and expansions since then, the Mount Washington is truly a legendary fixture of the Lakes Region and State of New Hampshire.
