Regarded as one of the best rides of the week, the covered bridge tour is the gypsy tour not to miss! You’ll be riding for a full day with this 135-mile tour so, plan ahead! You will visit seven historic covered bridges and five that you can ride through. Our friends at the Covered Bridge Farm Table restaurant in Campton, NH will welcome us with open arms as both our lunch stop mid-way and our final destination. All riders are responsible for their own lunch and their own ride.
Depending on the size of the group and limited parking at some of the bridges, stops at all bridges is unlikely. Whether you’re riding with our volunteer tour guides and lifelong Laconia enthusiasts, Dave and Deb, or if you’re going it alone – the covered bridge tour is a must-do for
Our ride begins on US rT. 3
North to S.r. 175 North. From
175, take a right onto Perch Pond
rd. and after about 8 miles, you’ll
come to the Bump Bridge (est.
1972). Stay on Perch Pond rd.
for 1⁄2 mile and then take a left
onto Hogback rd. Less than one
mile later, you will turn left on
S.r. 175 South and make a right
onto Blair rd. across our second
bridge, Blair Bridge (est. 1869).
This bridge leads directly to our
lunch stop at the Covered Bridge Farm Table. After a ful- filling lunch, we go head back onto US rT. 3 South and follow this for 3.2 miles and take a right on Fairgrounds rd. for 3.1 miles onto Smith Bridge rd., which leads us to the Smith Millennium Bridge (est. 2000).

From Hill rd., we will take Porter rd. to our 7th Bridge, the Swiftwater Bridge (est. 1849). From here, we will cross the bridge to S.r. 112, which is the western part of the famous Kancamangus highway. We then make a left onto S.r. 112 east for 18.7 miles until we arrive back on US rt. 3. US rt. 3 will lead us back to Blair rd. and ending at the Covered Bridge Farm Table.

ride leaves from rally Headquarters on Wednesday, June 12th at 10:30am with line-ups beginning at 8am.
Keep going southeast until you get to S.r. 25, make a right and go for 11.5 miles until you get to the village of Wentworth. The 4th bridge we visit is the Wentworth Village Bridge (est. 2016), which will be on your right. From here, we will continue north on S.r. 25 and make a left on S.r. 25A West. After 14.5 miles, we will take a left onto S.r. 10 to river road, which brings us to our 5th bridge, the Edgell Bridge (est. 1885). Stay straight on river rd. until you get to Breck Hill rd. Take Breck Hill rd. for 1.7 miles until you get to North Thetford rd. Take another left and this will lead back to S.r. 10, which we will take until we get to the Intersection of
