Ivy Brenda Cherotich and
Brian Orinda, the first
coronavirus patients to heal
were discharged from
Kenyatta National Hospital
(KNH) isolation ward after
they were declared free of the
disease.
Brenda was confirmed to
have the disease after her trip
from the United States of
America received treatment
from health workers at KNH
facility.
Brian got it after he got into
contact with Ivy.
Speaking to the Head of State
Uhuru Kenyatta through a
teleconference video call at
Afya House, Brenda
expressed her gratitude to
God for the healing hand and
the health workers for the
support she received while
on treatment and urged all
Kenyans to heed the Ministry
of Health guidelines so as to
defeat the disease.
