But before I can ask,
I am swept away by the river of students
coming my way.
When I ask Mr. Franklin about her,
he says that some people come to America
seeking shelter but sometimes get much more
then they bargained for.
I look up at him showing that I don't understand,
he looks down at me and smiles,
Kek, you know how you came here
fleeing your old life?
I nod slowly to show I understand.
Well, some people never escape it.
Oh, enough of this!
He says,
Go have some lunch!
