Section 4 Health, Safety & Environment

SITRE is committed to providing safe and healthy work environments in our offices and
work sites. We aim to minimise the number of health & safety and environmental
incidents and ultimately to achieve an incident-free working environment.

SITRE complies with UAE Law - Article 91 of Federal Law NO 8 and Article 1 of Ministerial
Order NO 32.

SITRE provide suitable means, training and strict safety implementation and management
on all projects we undertake. Each employee has a strong emphasis placed on them to
achieve Zero incidents in the workplace.

The employee shall use protective devices and clothing provided for this purpose, and shall
carry out all instructions of the employer for safety from hazards.

At SITRE we are committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its
activities on the environment.

The key points of its strategy to achieve this are:

• Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as
possible.

• Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
• Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the SITRE.

SITRE will implement a training program for its staff to raise awareness of environmental
issues and enlist their support in improving our performance.
