Rhythm/Rhyme: “I Eat My Peas With Honey”

• MM performs rhyme:
“I eat my peas with honey

I’ve done it all my life
It makes the peas taste funny
But it keeps them on my knife.”

• “What do I eat my peas with?” (honey)
• “How do the peas taste?” (funny)
• MM repeats rhyme, alternating between patting her lap and clapping the beat

• Repeat rhyme while copying MM
