• Solo – someone singing or playing alone
• Practiced moving and singing to high & low pitches

• Practiced the steady beat and the rhythm to 3 rhymes and played rhythm sticks &
shakers
• Practiced making up solos with rhythm sticks
• Saw Irish step dancing to bodhran drum by the Gothard Sisters

Warm-Up:
• Frankie Dance: head & tail motion – rock spine back-forth, side-side, fold at the
waist, roll up slow
o Upper Body: figure eights, wave, sprinkler, raise the roof, shake
o Lower Body: hug a tree, high knees, little kicks, heel touches, toe touches,
crisscross jumps, Big X
• March in Place with Hamster Wheel
• Vocal Warm-Up: speak, whisper, shout, sing
• Calm Body
