Metis Micro particulates are biocompatible allograft powders
®
made from cancellous and/or cortical bone, most commonly used
for spinal fusion, void filling, and, sinus augmentation. The powder
provides a scaffold for cellular ingrowth and superior osteoinduction,
incorporating rapidly and facilitating new bone formation. The
microparticulates are radiodense for accurate radiographic
follow-up. Particle sizes range from 100-300 µm, which has
been shown to be the optimal particle size for bone repair.
