TQC DRYING TIME RECORDER
Meets ASTM D5895, ISO 9117-4 and DIN EN 14022
The TQC Drying Time Recorder is a fully digi- tally controlled machine that conforms to the BK (Beck Koller) method and meets ASTM D5895, ISO 9117-4 and DIN EN 14022.
The compact machine has six tracks, and comes with two robust and reusable glass beds of 100 X 350 X 3 mm. Optional are six narrow glass beds in special adapters. The front panel of the TQC Drying Time Recorder is made out of hardened glass, which is easy to clean and protects the display underneath it.

FINENESS OF GRIND GAGES
The Fineness of Grind Gage can be used for checking the particle size in a paste. The sample paste is used just as it comes from the grinding machine, but rst permitted to cool to room temperature. When this is done, it will be found that reading the gage has been reduced to the simple task of observing where the coarse particles have been screened out, their path being a de nite scratch in the paste matrix. Since most pastes show little uidity in such a thin lm, most materials will dry in the path before con uence erases the scratches. Little dif- culty is experienced in obtaining agreement between various trained personnel regarding readings taken by this method.

Fineness of Grind Gages are steel gages which have been ash-chrome plated primarily to increase the wear-life of the gage.
Gages are made from special stainless forgings of AISI Type 440-C stainless steel.
