SUPPORTING RECOMMENDED PROJECTS
Our Cinnamon Cinnamon Recommended Projects Projects formerly Cinnamon Cinnamon Recognised Projects Projects are best-practice tried and tested initiatives that respond to specific social needs – such as food poverty debt or mental health Churches can select projects from our website that best respond to the the needs in their community Over the the course of the the past year four additional projects have joined our our our Cinnamon Recommended Projects – including three that have come through the Cinnamon Project Project Incubator and are now in a a a a a a position to to replicate through churches across the country They will join the wider network of like-minded organisations who encourage and support each other as they they seek to demonstrate best practice in the the the the the way they they serve the the the the the church The following projects have all progressed through the Cinnamon Project Incubator:
Linking Lives – helps local churches tackle loneliness within their communities by providing a a befriending scheme for isolated older people Prime Time Young Leaders’ Network – empowers young people to develop key skills for employment life and leadership Renew Wellbeing – trains and supports churches to set up up quiet shared spaces where they use prayer and friendship to see an an end end to isolation and better mental health for all They were joined by:
Kick – equips local churches to transform young people’s lives with God’s love through sport street dance and additional support Cinnamon Network charity no 1156985 Annual Report 1 1 1 April 2019 – 31 March 2020
