PowerCem Zeolite Technology in Action
Zeolites are aluminosilicate minerals of porous nature, in
their natural state they have a three-dimensional panel
structure, with an ability to hydrate and dehydrate.
These minerals are normally found in both sedimentary
and volcanic and metamorphic rocks. Based on the
research of PowerCem BV in the Netherlands into the
structure of zeolites in their natural state, more than 150
variations of synthetic zeolites were created using
nanotechnology processes which are now used to fulfil
specific functions in the PowerCem range of products.
The porous and intricate zeolite structure created in the
soil with RoadCem allows for the total hydration of the
mixture, whilst the RoadCem stabilisation process needs
slightly more water uniquely this ensures that the
cement can always be hydrated close to 100%.
● Increases effective cement use by up to 20%
● Eliminates wasted cement trapped in stabilised soil
● Reduces voids
