MAKE IT OR BREAK IT
It is usually difficult to break an existing trend like a jinx. But that is
exactly how champions are known. Champions, creative thinkers and inventors
are people who did something in a different way. To join the crowd, is to be like
the crowd. To be like the crowd is to lose identity and become common and to
become common is to eventually end up like everyone else.
Creative thinkers may not do an entire new thing but they do the
common thing in an uncommon way. Ben Carson’s mum repeated a word to her
son which kept him on the move and made him successful. And that was “you
can do something everyone does, only you can do it better”.
Ayn Rand once said “A creative man is motivated by the desire to
achieve, not by the desire to beat others”. From now onward, desire to be
different. Do not join the rat race. STAND OUT AND STAND TALL. When others
are sleeping choose to rise up and work. When others are spending, choose to
invest and save. When other choose to invest their resources on the non-
essentials, Choose to spend yours improving yourself. Time will differentiate
between you both. Go on and BREAK THE NORMS OF LIFE and be creative. Be a
contributor and not always a receiver. Become an innovator, a value-adder, a
limit breaker and a pace setter. And always remember you are in a competition
with no one but YOURSELF.
