Tour In Detail

Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (D)
Arrive in the morning and transfer to city center. Reinforce with
a famous pho and a cup of coffee at an old café on Le Van Huu
Street. Afternoon take a pedicab tour around the old quarter.
Visit the Ngoc Son Temple, Temple of Literature and Ba Dinh
Square. Dinner at Co La Restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Follow Route 5 toward Halong Bay and visit a countryside
market en route. Upon arrival at the pier in Tuan Chau, embark
a cruise ship for an overnight bay cruise. Enjoy magnificent
scenery and different activities on board.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/D)
Enjoy the morning cruise and sail back to shore. Afternoon drive
back to Hanoi. En route stop by the rural village of Yen Duc and

Expedition Day 4: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong – Ninh Binh (B)

Drive out of town toward Cuc Phuong National Park. Take a
relaxing hike through the vegetation and enjoy the unspoiled
nature while learning about the tropical jungle habitat. Short
drive to Ninh Binh to overnight.

Day 5: Ninh Binh – Overnight train (B/D)
14 days The morning is for the sampan ride through magnificent karst
landscape of Tam Coc followed by a short bicycle trip to the
vestige of the old capital of the 11th century under the Dinh
Dynasty. Dinner is special with the Ninh Binh’s famous goat
dishes. Transfer to the railway station to catch the overnight
train to Dong Hoi (SE1 etd 21:50 eta 05:35).
